Genovese Walnut Blend

Foods to eat with Genovese Walnut Blend:

Artichokes, beans of all sorts, green beans, beef, savory breads, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cheese, chicken or turkey, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, eggs, fish, lamb, meatloaf mushrooms, onions, pasta, pork, potatoes, rice, salads, salmon, summer squash, stuffing, tomatoes, tuna, and all vegetables.

 

Italian Sausage with Feta and Genovese Walnut Blend

2 lb. Ground Italian Sausage

1 1.5 oz. package of Genovese Walnut Blend

2 T. olive oil (optional)

1/4 c. red wine

1 c. crumbled feta cheese

Cook Italian sausage in skillet with seasoning on medium heat until opaque (20 minutes).  Only add olive oil if sausage has very little fat.  Stir in red wine, cook for 5 minutes on medium-low heat.  Take off heat and let cool slightly before topping with feta. 

Use as meat sauce or lasagna filling.
